My practice utilises printmaking to explore lineage, kinship and narrative. Inspired by archetypes and tropes, I source imagery related to the idea of the bloodline, particularly when its linearity is disturbed. These images come together to construct a visual narrative of ancestry and relatedness. Using patterning and mutations I hint that these ancestral narratives have their own genetic code.
