O'Rourke is primarily concerned with the rhythms of nature within the Irish countryside and the unique colloquialisms of its inhabitants. This body of work presents that inherit curiosity through the language and iconography of night-fishing. Points of tension arising from this investigation relate to the deterioration of spawning fish on western seaboard rivers.
