I've always been interested in themes of the body, gender and sexuality. My work looks both at the past and the present in relation to women’s rights, reproductive rights and body politics. My work is formed from thick layers household of paint, which I mould, stitch and glue into a desired shape. The work lies in a space where it is not quite a painting but not quite a sculpture.
