The work is about the destruction of identity and the remaking of it, a process that is familiar to those who have endured domestic abuse. I was curious at how far I could push the pixilation while still retaining a recognisable image. Where the viewer stands directly impacts on the legibility of the image, a metaphor for many situations in life.
