Deirdre Bracken is a recent graduate from NCAD. She graduated in fine Art (Painting) and education. Deirdre is a working artist and teacher in Dublin 6. Her work is underpinned by social and wider world issues which forms the basis for her research. Using oil paint on canvas, her work takes its lead from the representational landscape image and explores the space between it and the abstract.
