New Generation Gallery 2016

From my own memory of environmental encounters, my work reflects my innate interest in abandoned or uninhabited spaces from a banal familiarity of the desolate space. They're everyday places of no importance, but depicted through oil paint in a realistic style on a range of surfaces such as canvas or plywood primed with rabbit skin glue and linseed oil gesso, which gives them purpose.
