We are a nation with a penchant for tea-drinking as part of our daily ritual. Through my work I explore the contemporary paper cup as a container of memories, recording and preserving fleeting moments within its layers. My porcelain paper clay pieces embody these memories and interactions. They are given permanence between the layers of paper clay and stain, long after the original vessel is gone.
