My work explores the socio political concerns placed on the built environment, investigating how public space is appropriated. Referencing of the structural composite of the city creates visual portrayals of the psychosomatic effects felt, as a result of structural changes in this landscape. Pared back visuals re-aestheticise ocular features attributed to place by means of stylistic abstraction.
