This thesis project is an invitation to imagine the future of the National Theatre in Ireland. It's concern is not just about the physical manifestation of what we consider a theatre building to be. It is a distillation of what encapsulates the many facets of theatre within the culture of the city. It seeks new possibilities of re-defining the role of the National Theatre along the Riverfront.
