Set amongst permanent structures of art, an atheist is asked to consider their portrait posthumously. Weighed against the longevity of the artwork, the transience of human life becomes apparent. Acutely aware of their own mortality, and in recognition of the objects ability to outlive them, a kind of contemplation around the medium occurs, one of both appreciation and confrontation.
