Plastic, which was invented just 100 years ago has already done such damage to the ocean. In today’s society, the sea is left voiceless. Σειρήν (Siren) takes inspiration from women's suffrage banners -rich in needlework and symbolism- and employs textiles and embroidery to create a platform for the ocean to create its own banner, allowing the ocean to become the artist/activist.
