New Generation Gallery 2014

Influenced by the language of European contemporary Jewellery, my work questions jewellery. These rings desire to be touched and investigated, provocatively challenging the viewer to take note of the everyday object. Taking a doorknob out of context and using it as a prop, it questions what it means to be worn? Through touch is it wearable and if so is everything jewellery?
