Looking at the expression of the body as a ritualistic language this work explores how movement and gesture can be transcendent. The idea of the mask becomes a specific focal point as a symbol of transformation allowing chance to take over and to break down personal barriers. It tries to transform chaotic and primitive impulses into an aesthetic form that will enable catharsis.
