My work explores the human figure and aims to reveal its earthy connection. Clay is a basic constituent of earth and requires the interaction of the fundamental elements to become a form. As rock formations are to me, I would like my sculptures to be meditative forms in appearance. An instant of stillness is needed in order to become aware of the change, the transitory moment that is happening.
