6 SACK OF BALBRIGGAN
1920. On 20 September, as a result of a quarrel in a public-house a Black & Tan was shot dead and his companion wounded. No evidence as to who may have been responsible for the shooting was ever produced, but the town of Balbriggan was unfortunately near Gormanstown, where a training camp for R.I.C.
