Celebrating the 200th anniversary of his birth, the Crawford Art Gallery in Cork presents ‘Stones, Slabs and Seascapes’, by George Victor du Noyer. Curated by Peter Murray, former director of the Gallery, the exhibition will feature over 150 watercolours and drawings by the antiquarian artist, selected in collaboration with Petra Coffey and Geological Survey Ireland. The exhibition is supported by a special grant from the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, and will be accompanied by an illustrated catalogue.
