In May, the Carol Cronin Gallery will open a new display of paintings, and launch Seascapes, an illustrated book representing a selection of recent artworks by the artist. Born in Wicklow, but now living on the Dingle peninsula, Cronin’s paintings reflect her surroundings, and the wild Atlantic. Created using fine glazing layers of pigment, the work is filled with nuanced colour, reflecting the endless movement of the water.
