The Hugh Lane Gallery celebrates the centenary of the birth of German artist Joseph Beuys with a review of the artist’s relationship to Ireland. ‘Joseph Beuys: From the Secret Block to Rosc’, focuses on the three blackboards the artist created for the gallery in 1974, along with archival materials for his exhibitions in both Dublin and Belfast, and his contributions to the Rosc exhibitions in 1977 and 1984.
