The final chapter of the Gallery of Photography’s year-long ‘In Our Own Image’ series highlights the ways in which artists both anticipated and reflected the intense social changes of recent decades. Featuring work by Ciarán Óg Arnold, Mandy O’Neill, Enda Bowe, Clare Gallagher, Pauline Rowan and David Farrell, ‘The Social Gaze’ looks directly at life across the whole island of Ireland and reflects how photographers have grappled with the many different identities that make up Irishness today.
