‘A Lonely Impulse of Delight’, presented by SO Fine Art Editions, celebrates the link between literature and art by bringing together some of Ireland’s foremost artists and writers. Inspired by the relationship between W B Yeats and the Cuala Press, each artist will respond to a piece of Yeats’ poetry. Participating artists include Donald Teskey, Hughie O’Donoghue, Richard Gorman, John Banville, and Paul Muldoon. The exhibition will open in SO Fine Art Editions on 26 November and will then tour in Ireland and internationally, starting in the Hamilton Gallery, Sligo on 10 December.
