In response to the present limitations to exhibiting art, the Golden Thread Gallery has commissioned new works, to be shown online, from Graham Gingles, Joy Gerrard, Sharon Kelly, John Rainey, Chloe Austin, Ailbhe Greaney, Megan Doherty and Clare Gallagher. For ‘Not Alone’, each artist created a piece of art, tiny or portable enough to fit inside a glass bottle, which is sent to international curators to mount in their own homes as they see fit, thereby creating a new configuration and context for the work.
