Limerick: Sense of place

At the Limerick City Gallery of Art Elizabeth Magill has her first major Irish exhibition in ten years. One of her generation’s leading painters, this exhibition presents a body of new work that is informed by her relationship with her sense of place, the Glens of Antrim, and her visual response to it. Her work is found in collections worldwide including those of the Irish Museum of Modern Art; the Hugh Lane Gallery, Dublin; the Arts Council of England; the Arts Council of Northern Ireland; Ulster Museum; Southampton City Art Gallery; the British Council and the National Gallery of Australia.
