Makiko Nakamura’s exhibition ‘Rondo’ at the John Martin Gallery shows paintings on paper and canvas. The works are notable for their jewel-like colours with the introduction of some figurative elements, a departure from her well-known abstract paintings. Nakamura is in the collection of the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
