This summer, Occupy Space, Leamy House will present two exhibitions. ‘Underline’ is a site-specific project devised by artists Janine Davidson, Olivia Hassett, Elaine Leader, Séamus McCormack, Tanya O’Keefe and Francis Wasser. Produced with the aim of creating a dynamic exhibition with Occupy Space, the collection of installation, video, performance, drawing and sculpture is in response to its space, architecture and context. An exhibition on the aluminium industry by Michele Horrigan uses video, photography, found objects and artefacts, to create a theatrical relationship and a heightened sense of illusion that traces a route following the discovery and use of Bauxite.
