Curated by Sabina MacMahon, ‘Songs of Peace: Francis Ledwidge’, travels to the Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris. Marking the centenary of the death of poet, naturalist, nationalist and soldier in 2017, MacMahon invited seven artists to respond to Ledwidge’s life and death, and the exhibition features work by Sven Anderson, Patricia Burns, David Farrell, Clare Langan, Mick O’Dea, Niamh O’Malley and Sasha Sykes. It is presented in conjunction with the Solstice Arts Centre, Co Meath.
