Polly Maher’s exhibition places rural life at the heart of contemporary society. Objects found in sheds, yards and workshops are the subject matter of her paintings in ‘Common Ground’ at the Presentation Arts Centre. Her small and medium-scale works on plywood and paper create a sense of intimacy between the object and the viewer.
