I aimed to create landscape figures which embody a sense of place through materials and textures reminiscent of coastal erosion and weathering processes. Their precarious stance is counterbalanced by the totemic figures which seek to convey a sense of continuity and timeless resilience. This perilous equilibrium suggests the strain that human activity brings to our planet’s ecosystems.
