My practice explores the tension between visual beauty and concealed threats in abandoned or overlooked spaces. Through digital drawing, I have depicted environments marked by decay and neglect, using vivid colours associated with hazard and warning. These colours, rather than repelling the viewer, make these spaces striking and inviting, masking the danger beneath. My project, "Hidden Dangers", challenges how we interpret beauty and danger, questioning our instinct to trust what is visually appealing. The work encourages reflection on how we romanticise spaces with hazardous histories and the consequences of aesthetic deception.
