Growing up as a queer person with autism, long-lasting female friendship as an ideal has always influenced my work. I aim to examine the tense unsaid, the brief surrender to existing connection and grief for a moment that has not yet passed. Film, for me, is the medium most uniquely qualified to express these facets of the cobbled road to development with blends of sound, colour, words and powerful elements. Women's connection to elemental nature is integral to my practice with motifs of ritual, tides and blood to express the intangible universal.
