Having recently completed a Visual Communications Degree at MTU, 'Grounded' was my final year project which I presented at the MTU Graduate Exhibition. This work explores the concept of grounding through sea swimming, in particular pushing passed any apprehension and fear of the getting into the cold Irish Sea. Through photography, I hoped to capture the stages one might go through when contemplating getting in and embracing the cold and the unique benefits this has to offer.
