My body of work confronts industrial farming, environmental collapse, and the hidden violence of control. I create sculptures—a cow’s head, pig’s head, a two-headed hen, and a calf born with its organs outside—that embody genetic distortion, exposure, and pain.Clay pipes, echoing decaying industrial systems, spill thick, iridescent oil across the floor. In these puddles, I entrap human faces just beneath the surface, unable to break through, evoking suffocation, helplessness, and complicity. I use black glaze and mother-of-pearl lustre to mimic the slick, toxic beauty of oil spills. These works dwell in a space of suffering—ritualistic, silent, and raw—where both animals and humans are shaped and broken by systems far beyond our control.
