I’m a fashion designer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, recently graduated from Ulster University, specialising in Fashion and Knitwear. Living at home with my family in Belfast, my roots shape my perspective: grounded in heritage, but always looking forward. My work explores the intersection of historical silhouettes and contemporary masculinity, drawing inspiration from the grandeur and artistry of the 1700s through to the 1950s. I am skilled in both menswear and womenswear, creating pieces that range from delicate knitwear to tailored and structured garments. My creative vision is rooted in a desire to evolve the language of menswear moving beyond dual silhouettes to embrace softness, ornamentation, and intricacy. I’m inspired by designers like Kim Jones (Dior SS25), who challenge conventional masculinity through fabric, form, and detail. I find beauty in the overlooked whether it's the exaggerated shapes of historical costume or the fine, hidden craftsmanship in my grandmother’s Waterford crystal cabinet. That same attention to subtle detail informs my own work. My immediate goal is to gain hands-on experience by working with small designers across the UK and Ireland building my skills, industry knowledge, and professional network. Long-term, I aspire to work within an established fashion house, collaborating with leading designers and continuing to refine my creative voice. Ultimately, I aim to launch my own fashion house, producing collections and partnering with brands that align with my vision.
