I am a sculpture and installation artist based in Belfast. My practice manifests through a small scale interdisciplinary merging of found objects, sculpture and text, led by eco-anxiety and eco-feminist concerns. Through soft interventions, I hope to examine how a forgotten kinship with more than human life is directly linked to a loss of compassion in an anthropogenic world. Exploring empathy as as a radical act, space becomes a tool for introspection and activism in the face of collective grief. By using methods of preservation as a form of ritual, is a hope to foster care in a tangible state. Producing an honouring of found offerings from the land, both as an ode and a lament.
