I am a visual communication designer with a research-led practice focused on storytelling, culture and social engagement. I am particularly interested in Irish identity, folklore and the relationship between people, place and memory. My work often begins with in-depth research which I translate into thoughtful visual systems, publications and interactive experiences. I use typography, image-making and material experimentation to make complex ideas accessible and engaging. Through my work, I aim to encourage curiosity, participation and new ways of looking at familiar subjects. I am interested in how visual communication can preserve cultural stories, raise awareness of social and environmental issues, and create meaningful connections between people and the world around them.
