I am a Dublin-based visual artist and socially engaged practitioner born in the United Kingdom, of Mediterranean, Levantine and European heritage. My multidisciplinary practice explores domestic memory, layered identity and the emotional and physical dimensions of care labour. I work across printmaking, paper cutouts, textiles, and artist publishing. Drawing on my background in sociology and social anthropology, I have a socially engaged practice which centres participatory methods of listening, collecting, storytelling, and exchange. Using found materials, collected objects, photographs and text, I reframe the domestic space as a site of tension, inheritance and possibility, examining how personal and collective histories are carried through everyday objects, rituals and acts of care. My recent research, completed through an MA in Design for Change at Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dublin, explores the lived experience of artist-mothers through participatory workshops, methods of storytelling and sense-making through art practice and process.
