My current artistic practice explores emotions, memories and anonymity through figurative works, centred around skeletal forms. Using mediums such as oil pastel, charcoal, coloured pencils and oil paint, I create pieces that are both deeply personal and open to interpretation. The skeletal figures within my work are intentionally anonymous, allowing viewers to connect with the emotions and experiences presented without the guidance of one fixed identity or narrative. Drawing from past moments in my life, this series of work reflects and reenacts emotions that are often difficult to express directly. Rather than illustrating memories literally, the work focuses on atmosphere, gesture and emotion through skeletal figures, using them as symbols of vulnerability, human experience and universal connection beyond identity. Rooted in personal experiences and expressed through emotional imagery, layered textures and expressive colour, the pieces remain open to interpretation and invites viewers to respond and connect in whatever way feels natural to them.
