I am interested in what happens when painting exceeds depiction and becomes physical. I construct environments where reflection, obstruction, projection and support shift the image from a static surface into a spatial encounter. Working with oil paint, laser engraved acrylic, sculptural structures and moving image, I explore how images circulate between physical and digital environments. Frames, reflective surfaces and display structures become active elements that interrupt perception and alter how the work is encountered. The resulting images remain unresolved, suspended between recognition and abstraction through material, space and the viewer’s movement.
