I’m Elizabete Klova, a fashion design graduate with a background in fine art. I focus on seamlessly blending timeless vintage style with contemporary design, made with the modern woman in mind. My style has been shaped by the richness of my Eastern European heritage, as well as a deep appreciation for history and retro music. I draw inspiration from the past, reimagining it for the present context. I believe that fashion should reflect lived experiences, mirroring real identities, memories and individual journeys. At the core of my practice is the celebration of women's unique beauty and femininity, weaving intimate storytelling narratives into classic, timeless design. My most recent fall/winter 2026 collection, "The War of Womanhood", explores the different roles and different stages of a woman’s life. Through parallels drawn between softness as strength, beauty as armour, and femininity as a battlefield, reflecting the constant conformation and morphing, the exhaustion and struggle of survival in a world with little freedom. Inspired by three generations of Latvian women throughout the past century, women who have come before me and shaped me into the woman that I am today. Their fight and resilience in trying to establish a place for themselves in life throughout periods of World War, political unrest and Russian occupation, the Soviet Union. Their stories of finding happiness and strength, creating beauty in the harshness.
