Aisling Smyth is a textile artist and embroidery designer who is inspired by the historical and motivated by the modern. Aiming to drive needlework into the 21st Century, Smyth uses modern imagery, semiotics, and geometric patterns to create zesty, illustrative embroidery designs. Working mainly with the Multi-needle machine and digital software, she proudly labels herself as a 'Digital Crafter'.
