Through paint, the coming-of-age process is explored with symbolism and metaphor relating to the fragile and temporal state of infantile innocence. Influence comes from Fables, mythology, folklore, fairytales, games and rhyme, along with the the Book of Genesis' account of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden - the original bearers of corruption within a lost paradise.
