Brenda Brady makes small-scale works on paper which explore relationships with place through a dialogue with process.. An intuitive methodology references figurative elements usually obscured in the finished work, but structured around the dynamic of ‘hide and reveal’. Work evolves through multiple stages of assemblage, layering and folding, with one painted surface frequently laid over another.
