I have always been mesmerized by fire. This fascination was sparked when I set upon the Burning Man festival.I'm drawn to the Raku Firing process as it creates unpredictable hues and tones and allows me to bring the concept of fire into my work. The Raku process challenges the sense of order and predictable outcomes. It forces flexibility, spontaneity and the ability to accept changes in direction
