Elaine Garvey received a place on the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland’s two year Ceramics Skills and Design Course in Thomastown Kilkenny.
Her work is currently featured in The Galway International Arts Festival, as part of the Creative Wave Exhibition in the Galway City Museum from 11 – 24 July, along with the Boyle Arts Festival, 22 July – 30 July, in the Church of Ireland Parochial School.

New Generation Gallery 2016
Inspired by the rhythm of nature, my hand-thrown ceramic work emulates the movement of water produced by rain drops. This visual symphony creates transient circular patterns. By placing my work on the vertical, it can be viewed in a new way. Showcasing the beauty within the rain, a celebration of the everyday.
