I am assessing processes of perception (as subjective experience). Informed by phenomenology, this engagement becomes an anti-empiricist act.
The eel pot functions as Object X in the engagement, the point at which we examine our perceptions. It is self contained, an isolated and assured object, yet it facilitates multiple, subjective understandings.
