My work plots a prevailing theme: momentary shifts in recognition that lie at the crux of identity. I focus on the ways that portraiture extends beyond likeness. My installations invite visitors to embark on a journey, one that begins with my raw and ennui self-portraits and moves through some of the most poignant portrayals of the human life cycle.
