I was interested in a process based approach to making art whereby the work would emerge as a reaction to that which I saw and experienced whilst traveling. I ventured by train to County Kerry and spent a number of days in and around Killarney National Park. The body of paintings play on the role of sight and draw particular influence from Chinese scroll paintings and Japanese wood block prints.
