New Generation Gallery 2018
Through the creative process I unravel my ongoing investigation into healing after illness. I cast materials on my own body that have a fragile, translucent skin-like quality which are highly responsive to touch, such as clay and handmade paper. I practice slow, repetitive, time laden techniques, such as hand stitching and paper making, to reflect the aspect of time within the healing process.
