Matthew Short recently exhibited prints in the Summer Showcase Exhibition at CANVAS Galleries Stranmallis in Belfast, sponsored by Hennessy.
New Generation Gallery 2016
My work concerns itself with how the viewer perceives and experiences objects in space. I have used light, colour and transparency as material; along with found objects and industrially accessible materials. I have investigated this within site-specific installations, containing ‘non-specific’ objects in which the viewer, the subject, perceives within space and time.
