New Generation Gallery 2016
My work responds to social and political issues and often references historical events as a means of exploration. The series, Constructed Memory: 1920, responds to a family member’s false memory of a traumatic event during the War of Independence in 1920. The series, Scatter and Contain, reflects on the plight of refugees.
