Paul Cashin is mainly interested the representation of realism and the many ways it can be achieved. He believes realism doesn't have to be straight forward, that it can be contorted, disguising its meaning. Similar to dreams, reality can often seem unrealistic. Paul creates false perspective between two images previously the same now separate through his use of tape on canvas.
